    The City of Lights Decorating Contest is designed to encourage the community to decorate and beautify their homes, businesses and neighborhoods during the holiday season. Anyone within city limits is eligible to participate and will be placed on the City of Lights self-guided tour map for everyone to explore and enjoy! The City’s focus is to engage citizens to share in the holiday spirit – whether decorating themselves or driving around to see the lights, it will be fun for the whole family! Timeline: November 21 – December 7 Registration December 8 – 17 Round 1 Voting December 18 Finalists Announced December 18 – 29 Round 2 Voting December 19-21 Finalist Trolley Tours (6:00 PM)

    Every Saturday, the Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Society hosts a Jazz Market "featuring creative arts & crafts" in Historic Downtown Fort Pierce on the waterfront of the Indian River. Original hand made crafts, stained glass, Highwaymen paintings, hand-painted glassware and much, more are available for purchase. Funds raised support education programs and local scholarships.

  5. Downtown Toy Drive Block Party

    Come celebrate with us! We are pleased to announce we are hosting the 3rd annual Toy-Drive Block party on Saturday December 9, 2017. Located in the historical downtown Fort Pierce. Help us bring a smile to a child this holiday season, Admission to the event is free, we ask for a donation of a new and unwrapped toy, then sit back and enjoy the live entertainment by local Artists, Dancers, Hip-Hop performers and Graffiti artists. Your donation will be given to local disadvantaged children in Saint Lucie County. For 3 years we have been privileged to have collected thousands of donated toys to be given to families across the Treasure Coast in need of assistance during the holiday. We work with organizations to include Suncoast Mental Health, Castle and Mustard Seed Ministries. Together we strive to bring happiness to our future generation and our beautiful community!

  7. St. Lucie County Holiday Boat Parade

    December 9, 2017, 6:00 PM - 7:45 PM @ The parade route begins at Taylor Creek near Harbortown Marina

    Join us in celebrating the holiday season. This marks the 27th Anniversary of the St. Lucie Christmas and Winter Holiday Boat Parade. The parade route begins at Taylor Creek near Harbortown Marina at 6:30 pm and proceeds past the South Beach Causeway turning around westward at the Fort Pierce Inlet at ~ 7:00 pm. The parade route then continues, ending at the Fort Pierce City Marina and Tiki restaurant at ~ 7:45 pm. Captains meeting will be held on Friday, Dec 8 at 6:00pm at the Sailfish Brewery. The public is invited to enjoy viewing the parade boats at restaurants, parks and other locations along the route including Causeway Park and along the river walk . Prizes will be awarded to winning boats at the Fort Pierce City Marina and Tiki Restaurant following the parade. All mariners are encouraged to decorate their vessels, large or small, and enjoy some good family fun for the holidays. The public is invited to walk along the docks and view the boats and crews.
